Car history:
Up for sale is my 1979 Corvette Black with White leather interior. The car has a
GM ZZ-383 stroker 450hp (motor has 4,500 miles since 11/06 no rain or winters
or any foul weather) turbo 350 with shift kit 373 rear. I purchased this car in June
2006 with 45,000 original miles. Soon after having problems with the motor. I had
a local Corvette shop Vette Dreams of Babylon NY replace all the brakes including
calipers, 2 rotors, E-brake cable, parking brake shoes, front wheel bearings, pads
etc. Purchased a GM ZZ-383 stroker ($4,900.00) and had same shop swing in the
new motor with new Hooker headers exhaust 2.5 with 2 chamber flow masters,
custom heat shields to reduce heat from the headers. New Aluminum radiator,
march pulleys, flex fan, MSD box 6a, high flow water pump, Edelbrock carb
750cfm and intake, new chrome valve covers, Edelbrock air cleaner with K&N
filter. I have $15k in reciepts this includes the motor, recently purchased a new
high torque mini starter $250, new optima red top battery $140. The previous
owner replaced the front seats, tires (Goodyear) had the original wheels polished,
transmission rebuilt with shift kit. This car sounds amazing and is fast for sure,
never beat on (tires I got the car with are like new) and always garaged and
covered the whole time I have owned it. The paint looks great but I would not
consider it show quality. Has some spidering on rear bumper and around rear tail
lights (picture), very small blemish under Corvette badge on back. Winshield
wiper motor doesn't work, new one included $130. Horn doesn't work, all new
horn guts included over $100 in parts for horn. Horn button and steering column
has some touch up paint on it from previous owner, tilt steering works fine. There
is some paint cracking around driver door handle. The power windows work but
need attention. They do not seal all the way up (picture of both sides). Drivers
door lock doesn't work and passengers work manually. These things never
mattered to me because i kept the car garaged and never had it out in the rain
and would basically weekend cruise it (caught in rain 1 time t-tops dont leak,
washed car 1 time with water detailed it and only use Mothers detail spray and
california duster). Besides the new front seats and new Corvette floor mats I
purchased, the interior is very original needing a carpet and detailing if your
looking to show it. (Carpet next to console has a gap), drivers door panel where
you pull it closed is disconnected. All the lights and gauges work. Heat works, A/C
is long gone. Headlights raise and lower as they should, the tach bounces and
would replace with after market one.The Kenwood tape player works and antenna
goes up when it turns on. I am being as honest as I can so there is no surprises
for new owner. All pictures are recent and not years old like alot of people try to
sell there cars with. I am selling the car because I'm getting divorced. I never had
any intentions of selling it but such is life. The vette has been babied and best
parts used, recent oil change with Royal Purple oil ready for its new owner. Clean
title. I only have 1 set of keys for the car. $11,500.00.

Please understand as with all pre-owned vintage automobiles, the described
condition is subjective. If you elect to forgo a personal inspection, and you wish
to have the vehicle shipped, I can make no guarantees to your level of satisfaction
of the vehicle.
